Amnesty at Paradiso - Feb 29

Location: Paradiso Restaurant, 125 Lakeshore Road, East, Oakville

Date: Wednesday, Feb 29

Time: 7:00 - 9:00 pm

Cost: $20 per person - includes 1 glass of wine or 2 non-alcoholic drinks, plus appetizers (cash or cheque only). All proceeds in support of Amnesty Oakville. Thank you to Paradisio for their continued support and for providing the appetizers.

Jewelery by Lynn Estall will be available for sale and auction. 25% of jewlery sales, and all funds raised in the auction, will be donated to Amnesty Oakville.

Letter Writing Event, Friday, Feb 3

Location: The Church of the Incarnation, 1240 Old Abbey Lane, Oakville

Date: Friday, February 3

Time: 7:15 - 9:00 pm

Amnesty International uses the power of letter-writing to help bring about the release of people who have been wrongfully detained and to influence world leaders to protect individuals or people whose human rights have been denied.

You do not need to be a member of Amnesty International to participate. Amnesty welcomes all those who are keen to keep shining the light on human rights.

Refreshments will be provided.
